NATHANIEL HANCOCK    

Nathaniel is a current member of the touring cast of Tap Dogs and has toured Europe, Asia, Bahrain, UAE, Australia and South Africa over the past 4 and a half years. He has also worked with Village Roadshow Mumble 2 Productions Pty. Ltd. as a tap dancer in the movie Happy Feet 2.

Nathaniel is a founding member of Street Feet Entertainment and The Australian Tap Company.  Nathaniel has performed at many corporate functions and fundraisers with Street Feet Entertainment and The Next Step alongside some of Australia’s best commercial dancers and tap dancers alike.  Nathaniel has recently adjudicated the Tap Scholarships at the Brisbane Performing Arts Challenge (BPAC) and taught the Scholarship Master Classes.  He has also recently completed performing 3 corporate shows with the Tap Dogs: The Lord Mayor’s New Year’s Eve party at the Sydney Opera House televised on ABC, The NRL Dally M awards night in Sydney and the Virgin Blue 10th anniversary birthday celebration in Melbourne. 

Nathaniel has been teaching Tap Dance both nationally and internationally, in the form of classes, workshops and rhythm and counting tutorials for the past 7 years and has a great passion for sharing his love and knowledge of Tap Dance.  His love of rhythm and intricate and different time signatures really places him at the forefront of modern tap dance in Australia.  These skills along with trick steps, fast feet and musicality driven choreography shows that he and his tap dance peers are well and truly keeping tap alive in Australia.
